The new 352-page issue will highlight some of the projects that have accompanied us in recent years, including Hélène Giannecchini on Donna Gottschalk’s work, Christine Burgin on the Denton Family archive, and Sophie Lapalu on Jeffrey Perkins’ recordings.

The issue will also share meaningful findings on the works of James Robert Baker, Žibuntas Mikšys, Vali Myers, and Martha Edelheit. Additionally, it will celebrate much-anticipated guests—e.g., Marlene Monteiro Freitas and Paul McCarthy in two interviews on their respective careers—as well as friends’ reunions with Liz Magor and Moyra Davey for the second part of their interview which began in issue Ten.

This issue includes writing about writing (of a film for Jean-Claude Biette and Gaspard Nectoux); writing on the epiphanies and discoveries that research sometimes leads to (two paintings by Paul Thek found in a fisherman’s home on the island of Ponza); and writing about the importance of finding guides with whom to rethink collective and uncompromising ways of living.

This issue has been made possible with the support of the Centre national des arts plastiques, Air de Paris, Badia Berger Architectes, Centre culturel suisse, Centre de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian, dépendance, Fondation Pernod Ricard, Galeria Zé dos Bois, KANAL-Centre Pompidou, Macula, Madragoa, Marcelle Alix, O Armário, Peter Freeman, Inc, Villa Lontana Records and WIELS.
